A series of pictures made for the ‘Cross Channel Photographic Mission’. The pictures play on various themes including historic connections with the sea, reflections on the county of Kent being known as the “Garden of England” and the effects of the ongoing construction of the Channel Tunnel and it’s impact on both people and place. Many of the photographs are placed in found frames, a reference to domesticity and traditional presentations of landscape paintings.
